No. Both adults and children cannot wear uniforms, clothing that looks like a uniform, or camouflage attire in Passport photos. If you plan to take a Passport photo after working in a uniform, it is recommended to change into an unlettered shirt before your photo
No. You do not need an appointment to take a Passport photo at CVS.
You will receive your printed Passport photo within minutes of having your photo taken.
Wear clothing you would normally wear daily. You can wear jewelry and do not need to remove facial piercings.

- Hats or head coverings are only allowed for religious or medical purposes
- Glasses and sunglasses are not allowed in Passport photos

Eyeglasses are not allowed in Passport photos. If you cannot remove your glasses for medical reasons, you must submit a signed statement from your doctor with your Passport application.
The U.S State Department specifies photos must have a neutral facial expression with both eyes open and mouth closed.
You may only wear a head covering if you submit a signed statement that verifies that the hat or head covering is part of recognized, traditional religious attire that is required to be worn in public or a signed doctor's statement verifying the item is used daily for medical purposes. It is recommended to keep hair and face coverings out of your face to ensure facial recognition systems can work properly. Yes, CVS takes Passport photos for all ages including babies, infants, and children.
Passport photos are accepted if an infant's eyes are not open or entirely open. Any children older than infants must have their eyes open.

Taking your passport photo at CVS is easy. Just go to your local CVS with a Photo Center and ask a colleague to take your Passport photo using the Kodak Moments Passport & ID Photo System. Before taking your photo, remove any accessories such as glasses or hats. You can’t smile in Passport photos, so just relax and let the colleague snap a photo of your neutral expression.
Passport photo applications have a spot to staple your photo, staple each side of the print vertically with two staples as close to the outer edges as possible.
In select locations, in addition to your Passport photo, you will be given the option to receive a digital copy for $3.99. The digital copy is accessible through email.
