Hydrogel Dressing
Hydrogel dressings are available in the following forms:
Hydrogel sheets: Prevents wounds from becoming too wet. Can be cut to size and shape.
Amorphous hydrogels: Free-flowing gel that can get into a wound. The wound would then have to be covered with gauze.
Impregnated hydrogels: You put this gel onto a gauze or pad and put it on the wound, and then cover it with a secondary dressing.
