Hydrogen Peroxide

Long used for disinfecting wounds and cuts, hydrogen peroxide is a household staple. This liquid chemical can be found at most drug stores and mass merchandisers, and it's a handy addition to any medicine cabinet. While it's frequently used in first aid, this unique liquid can also be used for a wide range of other things throughout your home. From cleaning and disinfecting the kitchen to removing stains, hydrogen peroxide is something everyone should have in their home.

Hydrogen Peroxide Beauty Products

Aside from disinfecting wounds, you can use hydrogen peroxide as part of your beauty routine, too. It's a great way lighten your hair or add highlights since it's much more gentle than bleach. You can also add it to some baking soda to create your own whitening toothpaste. When you use it daily, it is quite effective at removing stubborn stains. Take a cap full of hydrogen peroxide and use it as a enjuague bucal. Just be sure to follow it by rinsing your mouth out with water when you're done. You can also use it to disinfect cepillos dentales since it can kill bacteria and germs that are commonly found in the bathroom.

Healing Properties of Hydrogen Peroxide

If you have a boil, add approximately eight ounces of hydrogen peroxide to warm bath water and soak. It should help reduce and eventually eliminate the boil. You can mix it with warm water to make a foot soak that will soften corns and calluses on the feet. It's also a great tool to safely remove ear wax. Simply put a few drops into your ears, wait a few minutes, then add a few drops of olive oil. Drain the fluid from your ears, and it should take the ear wax with it. You can also use hydrogen peroxide with vinegar to prevent swimmer's ear. Some people also use it to help clear up infecciones de oído.

Hydrogen peroxide is an inexpensive, effective cleaner. Spray some directly on your tile floors or countertops to get rid of stubborn stains and dirt. Add some plastic wrap to the grout and let it sit overnight, then rinse with water for brilliant results. Pour about a half cup of hydrogen peroxide into your toilet bowls, and let it soak for around 30 minutes. It's a great way to easily remove stubborn stains. You can also spray it on the bathtub to remove grime, scum, and dirt.
