How To Sanitize MAM Pacifiers
To clean and sanitize MAM pacifiers, place them in the protective case that comes with the pacifier. Fill the case with clean water up to the fill line shown on the case. Then, place the case and pacifier in the microwave with the nipple side facing down, and microwave it according to the package instructions. Ideally, your MAM pacifier should be cleaned in a 750-1000-watt microwave and heated for no longer than three minutes. Before first use, you should sterilize your MAM pacifier by placing it in a bowl of very hot water for about five minutes, then air dry it before use. It's important to sanitize your pacifiers often to prevent the growth of bacteria. Never place pacifiers in the dishwasher, and keep them out of direct sunlight to protect the silicone nipple from getting damaged. MAM pacifiers are bpa free.
How To Get Water Out Of MAM Pacifiers
If you notice that there is water in your MAM pacifiers, it's easy to remove it. To get rid of excess water, simply squeeze the nipple flat to press out the water. If you still see water or notice any small remaining water droplets, simply place the pacifier on a clean, dry towel and let it air dry before giving it to your baby. You can also shake the pacifier vigorously to help remove any remaining water. If water is still trapped inside your MAM pacifier after following these steps, it's recommended that you throw it away and use a new one, just to be safe.
