There are three ways to add more OLE to your daily routine. The first is in a supplement form, such as a pill or capsule. The second form is olive leaf extract tea, which can be used to help increase antioxidant capacity. While it doesn't contain as much oleuropein as a supplement, replacing your green tea with OLE tea can still be beneficial since it has twice the amount of antioxidants. The third form of OLE is a topical cream, which can be used to help with minor wounds, acne or irritated skin.
Along with the possible prevention of diseases, OLE could also help with cognitive function and increasing metabolism and energy levels.
Olive Leaf Extract Side Effects
There has not been a lot of research done on the regular use of OLE, but side effects can occur, such as headaches or stomach pain. In addition, you could develop an allergy to OLE. Pollen from the olive leaf can trigger reactions in people who are allergic to plants in the Oleaceae family, which includes ash trees, lilacs, jasmine, olive trees and others.
