Just bought yesterday. It turns on, flashes screens, won't take temperature (it did it successfully only once). That temperature was significantly different than another thermometer (another company). Complete waste of money. Buy something that works easily and WHERE THE INSTRUCTIONS ON LINE are easily available (CVS sends you to an instruction page with FAQs for everything). Sorry, I don't an hour to parse through this stuff. Worked for 1 day
This thermometer worked for one day. The next time I used it it was very inconsistent. Temperature changed on the same person by several degrees each time. I'm a nurse. This was not user error. The device is not good. Doesn’t give consistent readings
I got a reading of 98.4 and 100.5 back to back. Inconsistent and wrong readings. DANGEROUS PRODUCT
Do not buy this thermometer. I bought it as backup and it "reads" the temperature super fast hence the description; however, the issue is that it is unrealiable. I tried the same arm 4 times and everything was different temperature..that is dangerous. Not accurate. Life threatening ! don’t buy !!!
I bought this for my partner during an emergency situation of sickness. She’s very hot to the touch but the thermometer only reads as 99…. Found out her real temperature is 103.5 ! CVS needs sued over this. TAKE IT OFF THE SHELVES NOW! then on top of it the cost?!?! 20$ for something that is basically trash??
