Exactly what I needed to give my brushes a good cleanse! The size of this cleaner has allowed me to clean all brushes of all sizes. It it so simple to use and has even been effective at getting my makeup sponges clean. I purchased these brushes days ago and the Kabuki brush was not glued well and the sponge had some tearing after the first cleaning. Looks juvenile, but work well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to try these.. I prefer the look of my brushes to professional. In my opinion these look like they’re meant for kids. That’s why I deducted a star. It’s the marbling and glitter in the handles and the ‘fun’ shaped sponge that are a turn off. However, because I had to use them for review purposes, I’m happy I did. I love everything about them - the texture and stiffness of the bristles, the finish they give when applying products. The shell-like ridges on the sponge weren’t a benefit but didn’t bother me either. Every time I use it I spend more time picking the hairs back off my face which I don’t like but I do use the other brushes and the sponge daily!
