When you're using a pore-minimizing formula, such as PrimeFocus, pay close attention to your T-zone.
Before you apply makeup, allow the serum to sit undisturbed for at least 2 minutes. This gives it time to absorb into your skin. The brand's serum primers pair well with most types of foundation; you can also wear them as an alternative to foundation for a lighter look.

To use a wet n wild primer water spray, such as Take Your Vitamins, start with a clean, moisturized face. With your eyes and mouth shut, apply the spray in an "X" shape to achieve even coverage. When you're using the spray as a primer, you can apply it generously; the bottle should be about 6 inches from your skin. Allow extra time for absorption.
Some of the brand's primer waters can also be used in place of setting sprays. For this type of application, hold the bottle farther away from your face to create a light mist.
