Tiras para limpiar poros

Pore strips, often called "nose strips," are handy beauty accessories that can help you easily and quickly remove the gunk and dirt that's clogging your pores so you can have smooth, clear skin again. Before you decide which pore strips are best for you, it's good to understand exactly what they are and how they work.

Pore Strip Types

When these little beauty tools were first available to consumers, they were generally made to be used exclusively on the nose. Today, you can find pore strips for cheeks and chin also. They resemble a sheet mask with a cloth or paper-like backing. Once you add moisture and apply them to the skin, they work their magic to begin wicking away grime, dead skin, and other debris that can clog your pores. These strips are designed for one-time use and should be thrown away after you're done using them. You should avoid applying them to sunburnt or damaged skin. Take a break between uses, limiting it to a maximum of one application every three days or longer.

How Do Pore Strips Work?

Most pore strips are made of some form of woven material that has an adhesive on the reverse side. This side sticks to your nose or other areas of the face when it gets wet. You leave the strip on until it's completely dry, usually after just a few minutes. Follow the directions on the packaging to find out how long your particular brand needs you to wait. Once it's dry, you pull the strip off and everything that stuck to it should come off with it. These strips should remove things like dirt, grime, and dead skin from your pores, leaving behind smoother skin and smaller pores.

It's important to note that these strips only sick to the surface of your skin, so they don't remove blackheads that are deep down in your pores. On the other hand, these strips are a great option to use before heading out for a night on the town since they'll leave your skin appearing much clearer. Their strong adhesive layer removes the top portion of dead skin so you'll have a nice, clean look on your nose, forehead, or cheeks.
