This is my go-to fever reducer for my kids! We just got through a fever , and this worked really well for us . I always keep these on hand because they’re so convenient, especially when my child has trouble taking medicine by mouth. Tips break off
My main issue with this product is that the tips are broken off in the packaging due to where a bubble settled during manufacturing. There is an air bubble right before the bullet tip of the product so the tip breaks off when removing it from the packaging. It happened with multiple suppositories I opened. This will make to be a difficult application, especially on children. It is possible to use, but you would have to do it twice for the two pieces, which isn’t great to do with children. Also, one piece wouldn’t have a rounded tip and therefore may be harder to insert, which also isn’t good for children. Other than that the formulation is good. It is soft and melts easily. The dosage is good for this age range. Packaging could use a little assistance
Okay ladies and gentlemen, I got to tell you it took me two tries to get one suppository out of the packaging. They do not open easily. It was kind of a little greasy...... Once I got it opened it did perform as expected. My granddaughter had a fever. I gave her this repository. It did reduce the fever within an appropriate amount of time. I can't complain about that, but you definitely need two hands and a few minutes to get the dang things open. The best suppositories
They lowered the fever quickly and are easy to use. Perfect when children cannot take oral medications. The formula is small and inserts easily.
