For the nipper: Soak toenails before cutting to prevent cracking and breaking. Starting at one side of the nail, gently slip the nipper blade under the ingrown toenail. Squeeze handles gently. Cut on a slight angle, being careful not to damage live skin. For the file: Carefully place the flat end of the file under the nail and gently lift up. Move file out and up to file under the nail. Use the pointed side to lift and clean in more sensitive areas. Caring for Your nipper and file: After use, sanitize area, nipper and file with alcohol. Keep lightly oiled in a dry place to prevent rusting.
