I love the fact that it is not digital and I can easily read the gage on it. My husband loves to smoke on the weekends and he loves using this thermometer too. It is the perfect size for storing it in a drawer. I have used it for a few different meats, including turkey, chicken, and pork loin, and all with no issues whatsoever. I experienced no issues with sticking, or other related problems. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so incredibly pleased with my new GoodCook NSF-Certified Stainless Steel Precision Meat Thermometer! No digital thermometer for me please. I’m much more comfortable in the kitchen when I know for certain that my meats are cooked to perfection. Whether it’s making sure my poultry is cooked well enough or that my steaks don’t over cook, this thermometer does it’s it best! I don’t second guess while using this-I know for fact it’s accurate and that peace of mind is great. So is all the food I’ve cooked with it & will cook in the future. I also love knowing that it will last me forever! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this meat thermometer right before Thanksgiving and used it for the first time for my turkey that day. I absolutely love it. It is very easy to use. Since it is inserted before you start cooking, it shows the uncooked temperature and continues to show the internal temperature of the meet as it is being cooked and how done it is at all times so you can estimate how much longer you need to cook it and how done it is. The reading is both in Fahrenheit and Celsius so you see both readings at the same time.
