They are chewable so it makes it easy to consume for those with trouble swallowing pills. On the plus side, I love strawberries, so I didn't mind chewing on these. They come in a plastic container with a screw off lid. Easy to open the container. Works Very Well for Heartburn

I would definitely recommend to anyone that takes heartburn meds. Packaging is easy open and easy close! The bites are chewy but it mentioned that on the product so was to be expected.
