Absolutely terrible! I purchased this because the store didn't have the original long grain Uncle Ben's in the box. A Real Time Saver!

Gummy texture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a miss for me. The texture of the rice was very gummy and chewy and not in a good way. There really wasn't enough product in the bag I'm my opinion as well. The packaging was easy to open and had clear instruction on how to beat it and handle it and I really like the concept but it fell short. One of my favorite meals to make when my wife isn't doing the cooking is using the BEN'S ORIGINAL Ready Rice Whole Grain Brown Rice, Easy Dinner Side, 8.8 OZ Pouch, which cooks in 90 seconds. Adding a little grilled chicken, salsa, cheese and beans. It's a family quick meal favorite. The whole grain brown rice is low fat and has no sugar added and no sodium. And it tastes great.
