We opened a brand new multi pack of paper towels and I noticed they looked slightly swollen. Pulled a roll out and they had spots of mildew on them. They weren't wet or even damp. Which tells me they had time to dry and were packaged that way. I've never seen anything like this. Only quicker picker upper
I've had been buying Bounty since "Rosie" was presenting the strongest paper towels and quicker picker upper. They used to have a thin perforated layer of plastic. No longer in the towels and the price hadn't dropped. Don't buy it

They aren't good at all
If they could absorb water, that would be a start. What have you done to your New Paper Towels
04/24/24 --- Why did you change and make them so SOFT. I know some complained but old classic and new environment friendly...you could wash your car with them. Now suddenly in mid April... the two layers separate, they are soft but at what cost, they fall into separate layers, not as serviceable, I will look else where, if you don't clean up your ACT.
