Being able to use this dryer as a normal hairdryer made my decision though I thought the brush attachment was appealing. My hair is almost shoulder length and this wide brush simply doesn't work. As a dryer, it works fine but the odd straight blower is awkward to use. I have 4C hair that is very thick. This product allowed me to straighten and dry my hair enough to trim my ends.
