Eyebrow pomade has a thick and creamy texture that usually comes in a small, circular container. It may also come in pencil form. Eyebrow pomade is used to add texture and fill in light-colored or sparse brows. The thick formula sticks to individual hairs, much like rímel adheres to the eyelashes. How Do You Use Eyebrow Pomade?
Start by choosing the correct color pomade for your eyes. Generally, try to choose one that's no more than two shades lighter than your hair color. Clean your face with a limpiador facial to remove any excess oil, and use tweezers to remove any stray hairs and shape up the brows. Apply a hidratante, preferably one with SPF to protect against the sun’s damaging rays, then a small amount of tinted or clear eyebrow gel or primer to ensure the color stays.
Using an angled brush, apply a small amount of pomade to the tips of the bristles. You can always build the color, but starting light is best. Outline the brow shape first, then fill in the shape taking care to add darker color closer to the inside corner while applying lighter strokes out to the outside of the brow. Using a mascara brush or spoolie, feather the brows in an upward motion to prevent a block appearance.
How Do You Soften Eyebrow Pomade?
Over time pomade may dry out. Add a drop of facial serum or a small amount of mineral oil to the pomade and stir. You can also place the serum in the microwave for up to 10 seconds to soften the product.
