I needed crayons for my visiting grand-nephew, and I was happy to find this smaller box at CVS without having to buy the giant box.0 users found this review helpful. - TheReturnofHazielReviewed 4 weeks ago

Where has the quality gone?
Crayola Crayons have always been a dependable high quality crayon. The last years quality has gone down hill. This year takes the cake. I am an elementary school teacher and all the teachers agree that crayons are made thinner and break without effort. A crayon just needs to roll off the desk and it either snaps in half or the tip breaks off. For the students who take great pride in how they take care of the crayons - it's very upsetting. What was really an eye opener was finding an old box of crayons (about 5 or 6 years old ) in the back of my supply closet! The difference in quality was unmistakable. I can't believe that a company like Crayola has taken the cheap road. I know our school is looking for another brand of crayon that won't break so easily. It's frustrating to me as a teacher....but so much more frustrating for the kids trying to color! Come on Crayola! Bring back the quality !Reply from Taylor7 months agoThank you for taking the time to share your experience with our 24 ct. Crayons. As an educator, your perspective is incredibly valuable, and we truly appreciate your dedication to your students and their creative experiences. We’re sorry to hear that the recent quality hasn’t met expectations. Durability is especially important in classroom settings, and we understand how frustrating it can be when crayons break easily—especially for young artists who take pride in caring for their supplies. Your comparison to older Crayola crayons is noted, and we’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to our product team. I thoughly dislike the current crayon quality
When did Crayola stop putting pigments into their products Seems like this art supply is a cheap replacement for the crayons I used when I taught art. Young children aren’t physically able to transfer these weak colors to a paper. I would rate it 0 if it was available!Reply from Chris10 months agoThank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with Crayola Crayons.
