Good quality rubber. Easy twist on to replace the single cane end. This unit lessens the likelihood that tge cane will tip over. It's a Flex Quad Tip
It flexes too much standing still, where it is wobbling if you lean on it. Great stabilization as you are walking.
This is the forth one I have bought ,over two years of steady use. One cane in the car, to use to & from parking lots- & Great when in the check out. It will stand alone while I pay. I keep one in our 2nd car also, keeps me stable while walking on uneven pavement. The 3rd is in the house if I need a little help. & the last one is the oldest, (I started to use while healing from Hip surgery) now being used to steady me walking through uneven grass, also while leaning down to pick something up. I've even used my cane to help myself up from the floor & the quad cane support keeps it stable for me . Added support for cane users
My daughter has been after me for over a year to get one of these 4 Point cane tips. She thought it would give me extra balance when I walked. I was sceptical about this. Then one day I saw it at my local CVS store. So I bought one. It was somewhat difficult to fit it at the base of my cane. But I think the tightness is to ensure that it does not fall off.
