The waterproof seal provides a barrier to bacteria, as the pad adheres to the intact skin surrounding your cut without irritating the wound itself. This seal also allows you to secure your bandage in place while in the shower, keeping your injured skin away from outside moistures and irritants. Although these premium bandages can stay in place for several days, they can be changed easily by loosening the edge and gently pull it sideways to release the seal.
