CVS™ Cold Sore Ultra Thin Healing Patch provides effective care from the earliest symptoms. It features hydrocolloid gel which provides a moist environment to help promote healing. The ultra-thin design is comfortable and creates a seal to protect sores from contamination.
  • For optimal results, begin application at the first sign of tingling or itching and continue use consistently throughout the outbreak until the cold sore has completely healed.
  • Wash hands before and after use. Ensure the area of application is clean, dry, and free of any creams or lotions. Remove the patch from the film and apply gently over the sore. Do not touch the sore directly. When the patch turns white or starts to detach from the skin, gently remove and discard.
  • To remove the patch, loosen it at the edge. Use both hands to hold the edges of the patch. Stretch the patch sideways, pulling hands apart as it is peeled away. Dispose of patch after use to avoid contamination.
