Not. Kosher, Vegetarian or Vegan
Contains Carmine, an extract made from crushed up, boiled crickets which can trigger a shellfish allergy but make a pretty, red dye. When I purchased this, carmine was not listed as the food coloring used. In fact, that's why I bought it, because Occuvite listed Carmine in their ingredients. Do we adult vitamin consumers need pretty red pills? Do we need any kind of food coloring in our attempt to improve our health? Why would anyone think that adding insects to our food supply is generally appreciated by consumers? I mean ask anyone: Would you prefer to eat bugs or have a less flashy vitamin pill?Reply from CVS Customer Relations TeamHace 7 mesesHi, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the CVS Health Adult 50+ Eye Health Softgels, 100 CT. Easy to take, and effective.
My eye health was declining as I aged - I'll soon turn 90 - but these eye health vitamins seem to be halting that decline. My vision may actually be improving, but both the decline and improvement are very slow, so It's too soon to be sure. At least I am now stable, and that is a great relief.0 users found this review helpful. - Sí, recomiendoMARTHACompra verificadaReviewed 7 months agoValor De 5Cumple mis expectativasDe 5Calidad De 50 users found this review helpful.

As Good as Ocuvite but Costs Much Less
There's no downside to eye vitamins for those over 50. And there's no downside to paying significantly less for the same formula of the higher priced name brand, Ocuvite. Take care of your eyes and your wallet. Buy the CVS brand whenever you can.0 users found this review helpful. - Sí, recomiendoANN MARIECompra verificadaReviewed 8 months agoValor De 5Cumple mis expectativasDe 5Calidad De 5Reply from CVS Customer Relations RepresentativeHace 8 mesesHi , thanks for sharing your experience with the CVS Health Adult 50+ Eye Health Softgels.
