THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD FOR USEAGE ON A NIGHTLY BASIS.IF YOU NEED EXTRA HELP WITH YOUR ALLERGIES OR ASTMA. IT WORKS AS GOOD AS ANY BRAND NAME PRODUCT. BUY MORE THAN ONE IF THEY HAVE THEM IN STOCK. BECAUSE PEOPLE BUY THEM UP FAST. I have a vintage hot steam vaporizer that was in perfect working order prior to using this product. I measured it according to the instructions. The first night I thought it was wonderful but noticed the vaporizer made an odd noise. I never added any to the water on any nights following. After several more nights (I refilled the water with clean, bottled drinking water as I've always done, never tap water) I noticed it was not emptying the container as it had in the past. Last night it barely put out any water and there was black sediment in the bottom of the container. I am heart broken about my vaporizer. I am imagining that there was aa chemical reaction between the solution and the bakelite heating element, which still gets very hot) causing the bakelite to dissolve. The product description says for "any hot steam humidifier." Now I am concerned about what I have been breathing. Not worth it
The cool mist steamer plus meds to add vapor are expensive but don't put out enough mist to change anything.
