I had a bad scrape on the back of my hand that needed protection and this stayed on through all the hand washing and showering. On the 3rd evening though it was still fine my scrape had oozed and I knew it needed changing. I soaked in the bath 15 minutes and still had to ease it off. Holds for 2 or more days
I wear a pain patch that on its own is not very waterproof and would fall off when I showered . I found this product and tried it to cover the patch and it works great. I'm able to shower and not worry about my patch falling off. Poor sticking power
Application is somewhat easy although the material is similar to Saran Wrap, very easily wrinkled which limits the adhesive quality and causes the bandage to be easily peeled off if you are wearing long pants. If application is done perfectly then you will increase the chances of the bandage lasting through a bit more abrasive treatment by clothing. If applying ointment, use care to ensure none is applied close to any portion of the bandage that you want to stick to your skin… it won't. Found product difficult to apply
Directions could be more specific. Product not easy to apply to area. Protects the wound
My husband used this waterproof dressing to protect his sutures after surgery. The dressing stayed in place and kept the sutures dry. No more fumbling around with flimsy bandages and tape. He is very pleased with this product.0 users found this review helpful.
