CVS Health Maximum Strength Burn Gel is recommended for use on sunburns and other minor burns for fast, soothing relief of pain and itching. Our gel is formulated with lidocaine HCL 4%, which acts as a topical analgesic. When you're ready to use our gel, simply apply to burned area as necessary (not more than 3 to 4 times daily) to further relieve pain and lessen overall effects of minor burns, sunburn, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and minor skin irritations. Directions for use: Adults and children 2 years and over: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years: ask a doctor. Warnings: Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas. When using this product, do not get into eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition gets worse, symptoms last for more than 7 days, or symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
