Cap was missing when we bought it. We found a DIY replacement by using the cap from an old bike tire. Pregnant Ladies Best Friend
I got this for my friend who is extremely pregnant. I was put off by the reviews claiming it was missing a cap.. when it does not require a cap- it's just a twist valve! She loves it. I catch her toting it around fully blown around her arm even walking to and from the car, in and out of doctors offices. Made my son comfortable

The inflatable cushion seemed like a perfect solution to my husband's comfort problem, but it was missing a part-the cap. So, it wouldn't retain air. Bad manufacturing
Had to return. Air value had no cap so air came right out. Extremely strong odor.
This item smells like like what I would expect a petroleum plant to smell like.
