    Great price

Menstrual cups are so much more convenient than tampons and pads. This cvs cup is great quality and a great price especially with the extra buck!

    Nightmare Fuel

Negative 500 stars. Do not buy this. As others have experienced, the stem for removal is too short, hollow and flimsy, the minimal ridges are utterly useless for grip in a slick environment. When you try to remove the cup, the floppy stem bends in every direction, lodges against the vaginal wall and can't be budged. All efforts to remove cup only push it deeper until the entire thing is totally unreachable. Then the panic sets in, with the realization you might have to visit urgent care for help. After 40 minutes of crying and futile effort, my last ditch attempt was to lay on my bed, on my back, ontop of a towel. I proceeded to do pelvic floor pushes, as if I were going to give birth. This did move the cup back down. I got it far enough after 10 minutes of effort to be able to grasp the bottom curve of the cup and rip the monstrosity from my body. Pinching a cup full of liquid causes it to gush backflow everywhere. I didn't care. I lost a bath towel, gained a therapist worthy level of anxiety, but it was over. This should absolutely not be on the market with this design flaw. As if cramps, headaches, hormonal rollercoasters aren't enough, this faulty product being unleashed on female consumers is a weaponized failure of utter incompetence. I can only imagine the horror of a teenager, someone with weak pelvic floor muscles, or lack of knowledge of how to push with the uterus muscles would have experienced. This product is going to needlessly land people in the ER. It is utter trash. The hollow stem is also a bacteria trap, so long term use ratchets up potential infections. Please get this off your shelves and fire the corporate team that approved its sale.

    Would give 0 stars

Because of the tip becoming slippery and hard to grab to remove, I would give zero stars. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care to get it removed because neither myself or my husband could grasp it. Please purchase a cup with a loop at the end to be able to easily remove! I would not recommend!

Buy the name brand Diva cup

There was an added perfume fragrance on the cup that would give any person with a vagina an infection.

    Size

The size suggestions are extremely inaccurate. The cup is nearly impossible to pull out as the ridges become extremely slippery.

    Painfully messy

It is not for people with smaller vaginas or heavy periods. Changing it every two hours is painful, and I don’t want to stretch my vagina to fit this thing and twist it around painfully and it doesn’t unfold. Impossible to use unless you never leave your house. Blood gets everywhere every time. Gross mess, I really wanted this to work

Doesn’t quite match a real diva cup.

I got this cup because my insurance would cover it over the name brand Diva Cup. In terms of the product itself, yes, it’s a menstrual cup. The biggest problem I have with the CVS brand cup is that it doesn’t have a solid base like a traditional Diva Cup, which makes it difficult to spin, and if you used a Diva Cup in the past you know it is necessary to spin the cup to create a proper suction to assure no leaking. There’s nothing more frustrating than being in the bathroom and not being able to spin my cup to assure I won’t have any leaking during the day. Otherwise I the cup works fine. Next time I would rather spend the money on a name brand cup unless CVS updates theirs.
