I have not used the name brand, but i tried this. It smells wonderful and within just a couple of days my scar has gone down, but now I am getting a rash in the area where I rubbed on this oil. - So if you have sensitive skin I would not use this

I wanted to try this before spending more on Bio Oil, and I am so glad I did. I have a deep scar on my leg, and after applying this nightly for 2 weeks, it is already almost gone! I cannot believe how well it is working. No scent, non-greasy, absorbs immediately, great value.

I bought this product about a month ago, I always use bio oil. I decided to take a chance, since it was cheaper. I am never going back to bio oil as long as CVS keeps this on there shelf. It smells just like the bio, and it is actually less grease and absorbed quickly into my skin, which was really nice when I was in a rush so it wouldn't stain my clothes. I also noticed a significant change on my C-section scar, with bio I didn't think it could get better but now only a month in it has definitely smoothed and lighted the scar. I use it twice a day religiously.
