I have used this one color, 345, for years! It is a vivid true deep red that I love. I have people constantly telling me how beautiful my nails are and asking me what polish I'm wearing. I love it too!!0 users found this review helpful.

I had a manicure done with this polish in red. I own it in pale pink and have never had an issue but when I took the red off, my nails were stained orange! I tried using copious amounts of polish remover but nothing works :( . I would not use this again and won't repurchase the pink color either. And since they changed the formulation of the classic Mademoiselle shade (too saturated and not sheer anymore), I'll probably not buy this brand again. Oh well....sometimes change is not a good thing.Reply from Essie4 weeks agoHi there Sadie28, We understand how disappointing it can be when a product does not provide you with the result you are looking for. This longwear nail enamel goes on bare nails without a base coat. However, some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Those with dry nails are especially at risk. If you see staining during polish removal, lightly buff the nail to remove polish residue from the surface of the nail plate. This formulation of this Essie polish is so smooth and perfect. Stopped wearing salon "gel" 2 yrs ago
I LOVE this polish. If applied as stated, no base coat, 2 color coats and 1 top coat and allowed to dry properly, you will get a good 2 weeks. I don't wear gloves for housework, so hands are in water and cleaning products, and it still last. Wish there were more colors available.
