I have been using these for about 5 months now. You can not squat in these at all! I don't think I have a loose canal especially since I'm not sexually active for years, etc. and do exercises to keep muscles tight tp prevent incontinence issues I'm older. Never been pregnant, etc. The insertion process is fairly easy and as long as you don't push on your pelvic floor in any way. Like picking up something heavy or do any form of a squat deeper than sitting on a toilet I would say these will likely not leak for the advertised timing as long as your not in your heaviest stage of flow. My issue is that I do squat down for many reasons. Like grabbing clothes out of a duffel bag, etc., and that is enough to break the seal and intimate a leak. I have to stop what I'm doing, go wash my hands pull it out slightly and reinsert. That may seem like it's okay, but if you're working and right in the middle of something it's not easy to just stop and go fix something that shouldn't be moving. I've even thought it's fine then I'm on a 1.5 hour drive and suddenly feel the leaking starting when I just inserted a new disc before leaving. I've watched all their videos, tried deeper insertion, less insertion, etc. I really want to like these because my lady doesn't like tampons and the reusable cups are very hard for me to remove. Especially the ones without a finger loop. If I put my knees remotely closr to my chest it's game over with these disc's. Amazing
I’ve been using tampons for almost my entire life, and switched to these during my last cycle. And truly, the EASIEST period of my life. Life changing
I was skeptical at first. I’ve been eyeing these for the last year and decided to try them out in April. These are LIFE CHANGING. I now have a new relationship with my period and a different kind of appreciation for my body. I love how I’m able to sleep comfortably with these at night, run around during the day, and I don’t have to constantly worry about leaks. Never using tampons again
I have been using Flex Discs going on 2 years now. I will absolutely never go back to tampons. I have had to use them when I am in a bind or start my period without being prepared and have had to get one from a friend, and I get irrationally mad every time. I have a system down with my discs when I need to change them, and overall I feel so much more sanitary then when using tampons. They also work great when I am on my period during jiu jitsu, I never feel like I have to check whether or not I am bleeding through any of my gear during training. Life Changing
When I stopped using standard period products and switched over to a mensal cup, and didn't like the fit or fell. Desperately, I then tried the disc, it was like a light switch flipped in my head. No dry tampon pulls, no wet pad "diaper rashes", just clean insertion, keeping me well maintained throughout anything my day has in store, PLUS a clean removal , truly making my periods slightly less dreadful to look forward toI recommend it to literally every women who will let me talk about it. Your invention has truly changed lives and I personally thank you for transforming Gynecologic care in this country. My hope is that it will reach worldwide to women on all continents & your vision will translate internationally. I wore white pants on my second day
I love flex discs!!! I am someone who has a small pelvic floor and the cup is just too much for me. I have tried the discs and I am NEVER going back to tampons!!!! I can leave them in for a long period of time without worrying about leaking. They are so comfortable and reduce my cramping and bloating. I don’t even realize I’m on my period anymore.
