I really like Flower Beauty. They have some VERY nice products. I have combo skin (N/0) and need a little coverage for a few discoloration spots. This is a thin serum that looks very natural on. It is a more sheer & lilghtweight coverage. I LOVE the Light Illusion foundation. It has a little more coverage & dries down to a natural finish. The Get Real Serum looked very natural and nice on but I could still feel it a little bit on my oily skin after it dried down. The Light Illusion dried down & I couldn't feel anything on my skin. I do have oily skin that can get oilier with some products. This Serum foundation would be REALLY nice for normal or normal/ dry skin or those who want a lighter weight foundation that makes skin look naturally pretty & healthy looking. My HG foundation!
This is the only foundation I've worn daily since discovering it. It gives a natural and radiant finish and it lasts most of the day. It works well with my dry/aging skin. NC45 in MAC for reference and I wear Caramel in the winter and Sable is the summer. This is my new favorite product!
This is my new favorite product! Everytime I wear it people comment on how luminous and healthy my skin looks. With aging skin, I prefer a lightweight hydrating foundation with a dewy finish that allows my natural skin to shine through. If I want more coverage, I let it absorb then apply a second layer. I had high hopes
I really had high hopes for this product. It is a really good shade match for me, however even with the best skin care prepping, the results of foundation were disappointing at best. Clean slate with moisturizer and primer, I used a brush to apply. First thing's first…. The pump is terrible. There has to be a better way to package this or at least get a better pump. It takes some force to push it and when you do, the liquid comes flooding out (waste of product). No matter how good you shake it, it's still a runny mess. I know it has serum but still. And it's not buildable at all (even using all of the small lake that's on the back of your hand). It just gets greasy and shiny and I have pretty good skin. I even used MAC setting powder and waited the ritual 5 minutes to let it settle. Overall, the product is sad. This will most likely end up in the trash and I won't purchase it again. FINALLY!
I bought this today and tried it as soon as I got home. Let me tell you, I was SHOOK! I'm very pale and I can never find a foundation light enough that also matches my undertones, but this did! It's very dewy and very sheer coverage, but is definitely buildable. If you go light handed with the product, it's like a skin tint or tinted moisturizer which I LOVE! I have lots of freckles but also some redness and this reduced a lot of the redness while still showing my freckles. Before you set the foundation, it looks like your skin is EXTREMELY moisturized, it's so dewy! Even if you set the foundation with a matte powder, it still feels and looks like healthy, moisturized skin. It doesn't look powdery or cakey at all! I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with oily skin though, it is VERY hydrating. Amazing!!
I've tried lots of tinted moisturizers, tinted SPF products but never a skin care serum with foundation coverage. The texture is super lightweight, and when I apply it to my skin it feels cooling and hydrating. It leaves my skin looking dewy, and refreshed with the perfect amount of coverage plus the benefits of antioxidants and other skin care ingredients.
