New formulation is too thick
Have used this for years and loved, but very unhappy with thicker formula, does not mix as well and as easily. Also find myself concerned at having to squeeze the bottle so hard that it's going to come out quickly and possibly go into my eyes. Considering changing brands due to the formulation change, after just two applications 😔

Orange/red, not burgundy
If you want orange hair this is the color for you. I should have known it wasn't going to come out right when I saw the color it turned in the bottle once everything got mixed together. After the orange washed off my scalp my hair turned red. Like Ariel from Little Mermaid, red. Super disappointed with this color.

Sadly disappointed with the color result.
When this color was black cherry I loved it. It turned out a nice purple color that I was in love with. The formula was obviously changed because my hair has zero purple hue. It is red!! If I wanted red I would've purchased red! Very disappointed. It is no where near the color results on the box.

We also also understand being concerned when a product you have used appears different than expected. Nutrisse was reformulated as a thicker, non-drip cream. The new formula provides improved richer color, longer lasting high definition color, and better long term coverage of grays. An awful shade of orange.
I was excited to see this color, #42, on me as i expected a dark burgundy because my hair is dark brown. Very disappointed to end up with something that looks like burnt sienna. Nothing like what i expected. I will now have to go to a salon to have this fixed. I will never use these products again.

New formula is just a color rinse that fades quick
I am so thankful I found a box of the old formula in my bathroom closet so I was able to use that for an event. I have purchased the new formula a few times and it just doesn't last or cover well. I was thrilled to see the way this product used to look when I discovered I was able to use the old formula. The color before was so much richer, it covered gray and more importantly it is lasting. I am going to have to try to find a new product that does what this one used to before you changed it. The new product doesn't even darken well with the first application much less stick around. I realize you are telling people to mix it more... tried that. It still doesn't compare to the old formula at all. I wish I had known and could have stocked up on the older kind. It really was my perfect color. Very sad it is gone now.

Not great.
My hair was medium blonde when I started, and now it's strawberry blonde. Nothing at all like the picture on the box. And the formula is crazy thick! Like hand shaking trying to squeeze it out thick. I'll be off to buy a new box of a different brand in the morning.

Disappointed
Totally disappointed :( I bough this hair dye 4 times, thinking it was gonna cover my gray hair like it says in the box ( 100% gray coverage) (FALSE) I dye my hair 12 days ago still seen gray hairs I went to buy another box today thinking I'll give it another try cause I like the color follow the instructions even leaving in for 5 more min .. and finish washing my hair and guess what ? Still not cover my gray hair. That's the only reason I'm writing this review because I didn't give it 1,2,3 chances I give it 4 chances . Please remove the note in the box when is not gonna cover 100% the gray hair.

Great color
I really like the color. The gray coverage was OK. There were two spots I missed could've been my mistake, but I did like the color. I recommend trying it if you have gray hair.
