Disappointed .. not caramel chocolate at all
Not caramel or chocolate in color but orangy red. Totally ruined me staying with my brown hair tone so it can grow out evenly. Completely disappointedReply from Garnierusa.com1 week agoHi Kjmalloy, Thanks for sharing your experience regarding Nutrisse B4 - Golden Mahogany Brown. We would like to help! wish i had read the reviews before buying :/
unfortunately this was not at all violet or purple like the packaging clearly advertised. i bought two boxes because i have longer, thicker hair- and i really wish i didn't. i've never had trouble dyeing my hair and i've never, ever experienced getting a different color than promised. but this product is RED. and i mean, VERY RED. i'm sad, because ive had red hair for a while and specifically waited for all of the dye to run its course though my hair so i could go to purple. it's strange too, because this is the same dye my mother uses to get her hair a beautiful deep purple color- so i figured it would be the same, right? upon mixing the product, i noticed it had a very pink hue to it, and it confused me but as stated on the instructions, the color shown in the dye bottle is not the end result, so i kept going. as it developed, i noticed the familiar stain of crimson on my skin, and i knew then and there something was wrong: but at this point, half my head was already processing the dye, and i had to move forward. as i mixed my second bottle, biting the bullet, i realized this mixture was a DIFFERENT shade of pink! i triple checked the boxes and, yes they were the same color. intense violet V2. i grit my teeth and continued the dye process, knowing there was no point in stopping now. sitting with my fiancé as it processed, he ALSO noticed and proceeded to ask, "wasn't that supposed to be purple?" and of course, my disappointment was further pressed. now to the even more harrowing part: i rinsed my hair as i always do: cold cold water, as i learned after almost 8 years of dye experience. my hair started falling out. not ALL of it, and of course i'm used to a sizable clump of hair loss with every dye job i do, usually from overbrushing it combined with the simple nature of putting chemicals on hair, but this was way more than usual. i lost a solid amount of hair as i rinsed and combed the conditioning mask through. it honestly looked like id cleaned out a well loved hairbrush four or five times- i was a bit scared for my head's integrity post-shower. even still, i somehow had hope. even after examining the clumps of hair-bunnies in the shower that shone a familiar vermillion hue, i hoped that once it was fully dried things might change. but im sitting here writing this with cherry red hair, wishing i had bought a box of splat midnight amethyst instead (lol). all jokes and ranting aside, please read reviews and do your research before buying because apparently, stop signs are now purple.Reply from Garnierusa.com1 week agoHello, Thanks for sharing your experience regarding Nutrisse V2 - Dark Intense Violet. Not purple at all
Horrible. Not purple at all. Turned a horrible red color that is actually kind of brassy in certain lighting. I was very concerned once it was on my hair because it started bright red/orange but hoped it would be okay once it developed. Nope. It did darken by the time I rinsed, but it was never purple and my hair ended up red. They need to reformulate this of take it off the shelves.Reply from Garnier1 month agoHi Lindsay5678! Horrible formula change, do NOT use!
I have been using BR3 for 4 years now and manufacturer has changed the formula to likely cut cost. I used new one thinking it is same as old but now I have pink hair!!! At first I thought it was my mistake so I reapplied in 3 weeks and still pink! Do not use!!!Reply from Softsheen-Carson1 month agoHello Badproduct. Rockstar vibes!!! 😎🤘
Long story short: this was my first time using your brand of hair color, (I used R3) (far from the first time during my hair in general though) and I so far have great first impressions of it! 😁 Shocked? Amazed? Stoked? Nah! Those are understatements, it gave my medium/light brown hair a very vibrant red result and even after the first wash? No noticable fading so far! I rarely leave reviews on anything but this brand was WORTH the review! 🤘😊 10/10 Definitely recommend!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Garnierusa.com
