I thought I had found the perfect eyeliner after one use and then I realized you cannot increase the tip by turning the bottom. I was incredibly disappointed. I only have had a few uses from this product. Very disappointing. I see in the reviews that they talk about sharpening the tip, well, there is not enough to sharpen. All that money for two uses?
I used this twice and am out of eyeliner. There is seemingly no way to gain access to further eyeliner within the tube. There is a small element at the bottom that you would think would push up further eyeliner but it just twists and twists with nothing done. That is a lot of money for two uses. Nice eyeliner if it would sharpen more easily.
Glides on very nice but would have been good to know that you need to buy a sharpener too! Maybe their brand if sharpener would work better than mine….mine does not sharpen it well at all so it seems i wasted money on this eyeline!Reply from Maybelline1 year agoHello there! Waste of money
The applicator doesn't "twist" to raise the product for more use, so after I used the initial tip that was exposed, I can no longer use the product. Product does smear on top lids, and is almost non existent by days end, therefore it isn't waterproof. Broke before I could even use it once
The tip broke off when removing the cap the first time. I didn't think this was a problem because of the built in sharpener, however the sharpener doesn't even work and I have an eyeliner pencil that I wasn't able to even use once.Reply from Maybelline1 year agoHi there! Poor Design
This pencil is advertised as self-sharpening; however, the sharpener only worked one time. After unsuccessfully trying to sharpen it with a standalone sharpener, I had to throw it away. We understand how frustrating this can be and would like to suggest some steps that may be useful in the future. Although the Lasting Drama Eyeliner may seem to have a plastic coating, it can still be sharpened by using our Expert Tools Dual Sharpener and gently turning it clockwise.
