Poorly designed
Even with the recommended sharpener these pencils are useless. It takes all my strength to twist the plastic-like outer part past the blade. Yet the color part crumbles to powder at the lightest touch. Since I have always been satisfied with Maybelline in the past, I bought 3 colors. They all had the same problems.

Best one so far, but lasted for a week???
I loved the eyeliner extremely, but my disappointment was that it says on the package that to get more out of it you should sharpen it and that doesn't work. What am I missing?

Hi there. We appreciate you reaching out! Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the liner, it can be sharpened with any cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. For the most precise definition, we suggest using our Expert Tools® Dual Eye & Lip Pencil Sharpener to sharpen your liner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the tattoo studio gel pencil eyeliner and I loved it! It lasted me all day. I will definitely recommend this product. Only down side is the tip doesn't stay sharp I wish there was a way to sharpen it.

Impressed. Funeral-proof
I have hooded eyes, that are quite oily and I generally have given up on eyeliner as I forget I'm wearing it and end up looking like a panda. However, I wanted to have nice makeup for a funeral so decided to give this a go. I lined my upper water line and gently across the top of my upper lashes and it did not budge. Very happy. Definitely water proof and did not transfer above my eyes.

Good eyeliner, terrible product design
I love the eyeliner, but I've only had it about 2 weeks and it's almost gone. The pencil does not twist and I cannot get more out of it. Terrible design.

Bad quality Wood
