As others have stated, the newest wrappers are extremely difficult to open with just your fingers. While I have the finger strength to eventually get them open, my 7&9 year olds do not. These bars have been a mainstay in their lunches, sports practices, just a great all around snack time essential for many years. That will change now that my children cannot open the packaging. I'm betting other families will follow suit. Your research and development team is certainly going to lose you loads of money and business with this change in packaging, because parents WILL NO LONGER BUY THEM if our children cannot open them.

This product is a favorite, but the new packaging is a much harder to open. If the packaging is actually worse because it is now recyclable, then why doesn't the packaging extoll the benefits so customers understand the tradeoff (my guess is that most customers would accept the lower quality packaging if they knew. I would.). As it stands, it presents as a cost savings measure knowingly taken despite obvious negative customer impact. Not only are the bars smaller, but the number of bars in the boxes is less. FROM 32 to 28. So you are now receiving 4 LESS bars for the SAME PRICE. This is a rip off. DO BETTER NATURE VALLEY.

Can't open the packaging of individual bars. It seems that a product such as this should be made to eat on the go, but that's become impossible without having a pair of scissors on hand. Family has bought product for years but will now stop due to the packaging changes.

The food product is actually quite good if you can get to it. The packaging is so hard to open, I've started carrying scissors. The package is marked as recyclable, but I'd would need to wash the wrapper to remove food residues before it could be accepted for recycling. I think a biodegradable package would be a better alternative.

I really like these bars, I eat one every morning. The packaging of the individual bars changed recently. The new wrapper is basically impossible to open with your bare hands, pretty much requires a knife or scissors. Not happy about this change.

I LOVE this product! It's the only thing I can tolerate on a daily basis. However, every box I open is different (size, density and coating). I purchase approximately 8-10 boxes a month and they are never consistent. The size has gotten smaller and the price has increased. It's disappointing.
