    I like to chew nuts

I love this as my midnight snack. Chewing nuts in my sleep is what I like.

    Disappointed

Similar to the review below, the product is totally misrepresented. Practically all cereal with very little fruit or nuts. Not like the old ones. Probably the last time.

    Grossly misrepresented, false advertising

So disappointed! The picture on the box of the fruit & nut bar is not even close to the product. Grossly misrepresented. Compared to the picture on the box, there is approximately 1/8 of the fruit & nuts shown. Will not buy them again.

    Recipe Change? Poor business decision.

These used to be amazing and were a 5. Now they are sans nuts and sans fruit. Come on guys! I get cost controls and economic factors but you can't change wholesale the formulation and sell them under the same name. They are now like Oats&Honey Chewy Granola bars. I almost thought there was a mixup at the manufacturing line. Are there any business plans to remake and sell a Fruit&Nut Bar?

    Dissatisfying

As a long-time consumer of Nature Valley products, I have consistently enjoyed the quality and taste of your Trail Mix Fruit & Nut Bars. However, I recently noticed a significant change in the product. The size of the bar has been reduced, resulting in a thinner bar. This reduction in size equates to less product for the same price, which I find disheartening as a loyal customer. While I understand that product adjustments may occur for various reasons, maintaining the same price while reducing the quantity of the product feels unfair to consumers. As someone who appreciates the value and quality of your brand, I expected transparency and fairness in any alterations made to your products. I have always appreciated the dedication Nature Valley puts into providing wholesome snacks that cater to consumers seeking healthier options. However, this recent change has left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with the value proposition of the Trail Mix Fruit & Nut Bars. I urge you to reconsider this decision and restore the original size and quantity of the bars, or provide transparent reasoning for the change in product size while maintaining the same price point. As a consumer who values your products, I hope that Nature Valley will prioritize transparency and consumer satisfaction in future decisions regarding product adjustments. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I hope to see positive changes that will help maintain the trust and satisfaction of loyal customers like myself.

Foods often contain genetically modified/bioengineered (BE) ingredients in the U.S. Many of our products do as well. Bioengineered seeds have been approved by global food safety agencies and widely used by farmers for almost 20 years. If a food or beverage product lists corn, soy, canola, cottonseed or beet sugar as an ingredient and the product is not organic, it likely contains BE ingredients. In the U.S., the U.S. Department of Agriculture has created rules for how food packages should be labeled so that you know if they contain BE foods or ingredients. At General Mills, we use the allowed text under the rule. As a result, some of our food produced in the U.S. will now have a statement on pack like "Contains a bioengineered food ingredient" based on the product formula. If you are looking to avoid BE ingredients, you can check out our many brands that offer organic and non-GMO foods including Annie's, Cascadian Farm, Liberté, Lärabar, and Muir Glen.

Not what they used to be

They used to be my favorite but now they are mostly oatmeal and raisins and the bar is thinner and 1 inch shorter than the package. And of course, the price is much higher.
