I've been using nyx eyeshadow palettes for years. My significant other bought me a new bright palette, I was super excited...then to find out HALF of the palette is Not for your eyes! Never again
Tiny print not noticed until after purchase that5 colors (the best ones) are only safe for face. The fallout on the remaining colors was very high, the pigment is barely noticeable on even the darkest colors and all the colors go on splotchy and uneven no matter if done with a brush, finger, cotton swab or with or without primer. READ THE FINE PRINT
The colors are beautiful, and I am partially to blame, but the glitter pigments in this set my eyes off into a bad allergic reaction. I understand it's not supposed to be used there, but it only says it is VERY SMALL PRINT on the box, and not on the website at all. Not to mention, in the advertising makeup look, glitter is used on the eyes! Make it make sense. About the eye safety warning
Okay so I own every nyx ultimate palette and I have used the "not eye safe" pigments on my eyes multiple times with no problems or irritation and I have very sensitive skin if that helps. The reason the certain pigments in question have warnings is because of a superficial reason entirely and that's because they can temporarily stain the skin which for some people with allergies or certain skin sensitivities it could potentially irritate the skin. But the odds of that happening are extremely slim it's all very circumstantial honestly, they just have to label it so your conscious that those pigments could do that. But again as someone with sensitive skin who HAS used the pigments with warnings on them I can say with confidence they are perfectly fine to use on my eyes I haven't experienced any staining except for some minor stains from a bright red and dark blue but the staining was gone literally after a shower and I was perfectly fine. So when you read the warning just be conscious that it could stain or in extreme cases with allergies it could potentially irritate the skin but if you're fine with potential staining that can disappear after a shower or don't have extreme cosmetic or skin based allergies YOU WILL BE FINE so I hope this clears up a LOT of some of the unnecessary aggressive reviews I've seen on these palettes.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on NYX Professional Makeup - emabobemaReviewed 2 months ago

Perfect shades
