Accu-chek for checking blood sugar

easy fingerstick

FastClix works fine.

good design, but a bit pricey
The idea of 6 needles in a drum, where you never touch the needle nor accidentally get stabbed by it when changing or disposing of the lancet drum is great. Other devices you have to pull off the pen cap, put in the lancet, twist off the needle cover, put the pen cap back on, and then after using it, open the pen again, stick the needle into the plastic twist off, and if the plastic falls off, you can accidentally poke yourself. With this drum, nothing is exposed. It does allow you to re-use the current needle (which we "shouldnt" do). You load the pen once and it's good for 6 tests (advancing a switch on the pen to use the next needle) and dispose of the drum after 6 tests. Only negative is they are a little more pricey than other lancets. I seemed to be getting a box of 102 lancets (17 drums) for ~ $11 only 2 years ago (not covered by insurance). Now they are almost $20.
