Department Store Quality; Drug Store Price
While watching Mary Greenwell's makeup video How to do Daytime Makeup in Your 50s, I took notice of the eye shadow segment during the makeover. Mary talked about shimmer eye shadow being becoming in women over 50. With that said, I decided it was time to look for an eye shadow palette which fit the bill. As I perused the cosmetics section of our local drugstore, I found what exactly what Mary Greenwell had described: Almay Eyeshadow Trios. Almay Eyeshadow Trios are highly pigmented; shimmer powder eyeshadows which work together to create a look which enhances your eyes and their color. The palette design is brilliant! The palette is designed in the shape of an eye, so you know which shadow goes where. Details on how to apply the product can be found on the company's website. I apply the eye shadow with a brush, and blend well. The color stays on all day long until I'm ready to take it off at night. Since I'm fair skinned, blonde haired and blue-eyed, I tend to gravitate towards the neutral palette, Every Day Neutrals. Almay Eye Shadow Trios are available in the following colors: Smoldering Embers, Coppery Blaze, Everyday Neutrals, Lavendar Haze and Mulberry Moonlight. I was introduced to Almay cosmetics by a friend in 1995, and have been a customer ever since. Almay provides department store quality cosmetics and skin care products at a drugstore price.
