Product doesn't dispense
I thought I was missing some instruction of new-age technology regarding dispensing the sunscreen. I open the top and try to use it, nothing comes out. Ok, maybe there's a sticker covering the opening. I try to scrap off what I think might be covering the opening. It is not lifting. Ok, maybe there's a twist feature to open it? Nope. I check on here for maybe some instructions that I missed and I see at least 2 other comments regarding issues with the product container. This is such a huge disappointment because I've been slowly replacing my skincare routine products with Avene but this is such a failure of basic quality control, it's losing my trust.Reply from Avene USA1 week agoHello Kathyyy! Dispenser problem

Avene Values Quantity Over Quality
These "new" sunscreens are basically a downgrade from the original Solaire UV Mineral Multi-Defense Fluid Sunscreen SPF 50+. They contain 10ml less than the original version, yet remain the same price. Ingredients also vary slightly. Avene's acclaimed Thermal Spring Water, which is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties is replaced by Methylpropanediol. The emulsifiers are also different which would explain why some customers who have purchased this version have noticed a difference in the consistency. Last thing I discovered is that the ingredient Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is used in this version. It's a common skin-conditioning agent derived from coconut or palm oil and if you are allergic to such oils then it could cause an allergic reaction. From a sustainable standpoint harvesting palm oil has been linked to habitat destruction, loss of biodiversity, and increased greenhouse gas emissions. Unless Avene is purchasing RSPO certified palm oil then they are contributing to a bigger issue. Overall it seems Avene is lowering the quality in their products to make a quick buck, which is a shame.Reply from Avene USA3 weeks agoHello smh1234!
