The steps for at-home application of Garnier hair color are as follows:
Mix the color and developing agent in the provided bottle.
Section your hair into portions for even coloring.
Apply the dye at the roots and spread the color downward to the end of the strand.
Set a timer for 30 minutes for a full color job. If doing a root touch-up, dye roots for 20 minutes and add color to the strands and ends for an additional 10 minutes.
When the time is complete, you can rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Condition your hair with the provided conditioner for 2-5 minutes, and rinse again. Don't wash your hair with shampoo until 24 hours have passed.
