I gave this book to my son who loves to draw. His take on this book is that it's great. The pages are smooth and not bumpy. You can use marker, pencil or crayon. This book is great for pencil sketching. The size is ideal for everyday use and fits well on the bookshelf with other books, which can be a problem with larger sketch books. The pages tear out so smoothly without tearing which is a bonus for me! The pages are pretty thin so bearing down too hard wouldn't be a good idea. This isn't the book you want to use for markers because they bleed through very easily and onto the page behind it. The only issue I had was when I tried to erase a mistake. The eraser stuck to the page and left marks behind, which is a pain if you are trying to make your artwork neat and clean. One of the things I like most about this book is the two pockets in the back. We do a lot of art in our homeschooling and this is a great place to store previous drawings. Overall this is a great book for students or beginners who like to use pencil and not marker. Quality sketchbook!
Nice quality sketchbook! The pages are thick enough to draw, erase and to add color to your drawings. The front and back cover is a sturdy cardboard which keeps the inside pages flat and prevents wrinkles or damage. it’s okay not my favorite

Nice paper
Really appreciate the weight of the paper, my pencils glide smoothly. The addition of the pockets is a nice touch. Great for sketching!
Perfect for sketching! It's been years since I sat down did some drawing. I really like the amount of the pages and the 2 folders it provides within the sketch book. The pages are thick enough where the markers wont bleed. Also good for color pencils and oil pastel shading. Good to carry along in the car for some inspirational scenery drawings!
