    It's worth the money

I am a dishwasher nerd. I've tried every type of dishwasher detergent out there from every brand and every style whether it's gel pack powder… Something about this product is different from even other products in the cascade line. The platinum product is the only one I trust to completely remove all types of food residue the first time. My entire Thanksgiving dinner went into the dishwasher with food bits of chicken potatoes vegetables, forks with bits of corn, glassware, too! Trust me - the dishwasher nerd - this product will not let you down and it is worth the extra spend. Here's a tip though, if you have a compact dishwasher you're going to need to run it twice :-) I really wish Cascade made the same product, but for compact countertop dishwashers.

Doesn’t leave my dishes cloudy! 💚

I definitely will be purchasing these regularly! I was able to get this sample of the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs from P&G! One wash , without rinsing my dishes prior, and it gets everything! It also doesn't leave my dishes cloudy! 💚

Why Intentionally Make a Non-Recyclable Tub?

The product is great, cleans not just the normal debris & grease, but also after a few washings cleaned the tarnish of my copper bottom Revere Ware pots, coffee/tea stains out of my white mugs, and years of yellowing & discoloration off my oldest stoneware plates & bowls. However, I have to ask, why make an otherwise recyclable #5 plastic tub non-recyclable? Especially for a company that has a whole web page dedicated to "sustainability." If it's solely because of the metallic label, why not use a compatible plastic wrap or paper label? Is it just fancy marketing, or is there some chemical degradation of the product that requires the protection of the opaque metal covering?

Is that Drakkar Noir scented? Diagusting

Works fantastic but that perfume is disgusting. Now all of my silicone spatulas and cooking implements are permanently scented & impart a flavor into my food. I'm about to throw out several expensive OXO spatulas & Joie egg cookers for this reason. That can't be safe. What's wrong with clean? Can we get some unscented products please? Took all the stars away I could for ruining my silicone collection.

Unknown,? hazardous ? chemicals? used in Cascade?

The Cascade Platinum PLus seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning our dishes and cultlery but I am very curious about the chemicals used in this product. You identify this as "Platium" which on - line with Google is identified as a precious silvery-white metal, the chemical element of atomic number 78. How much Platinum is actually used in manufacturing this dish washing cleaner? Is this metal hazardous for human consumption? I recognize Citric Acid and water as two ingredients in this product but there is no information about all the other chemicals mixed into the"pods" and any potential toxic ingredients in each item listed that might linger on the plates and be harmful to humans with their toxic content to be used on plates and cutlery. Impossible to rate VALUE and Quality without a very clear guarantee that these are no human harmful ingredients in the Cascade Platinum dishwasher pods.
