I couldn't agree more with all the negative reviews. I bought the Dark Brown shade that I always bought in the past and this time around it didn't cover my grays. Additionally, the ammonia odor was stronger than ever. It is so disappointing to see Clairol's replies to customer reviews where they say that the formula has not changed. If it hasn't changed than why did I get such faint coverage after leaving it in for 15 minutes? Not to mention the unpleasant odor.Reply from ClairolHace 9 mesesHi there! Pérdida del cabello
I bought the Auburn Red in spray to cover the roots. My hair is almost black and it didn't cover it at all. I guess it's only for grey hair? It did make my scalp red instead. I had to tie it to hide my scalp. My hair went super dry and brittle and on the next shampoo, I discovered this big patch of hair loss :(Reply from ClairolHace 9 mesesHi there! Root-touch up I bought was horrible.
I bought this many times prior to this last time & the ammonia this time about knocked me over. It made my eyes & nose run like crazy. I couldn't hardly open my eyes for it running. Never had it done this before. I was holding it low to put on my roots & the smell was so strong it caused me to breath a lot of that ammonia in my nose, mouth & throat. My husband could smell me a mile away with that root touch up in my hair. I did breath a huge amount in, not trying to. My window was even opened. I don't know what they mixed in this stuff, but it sure was horrible. Perfect blending
I've counted on this brand for the last 7 years & I love it. Always does a perfect job of blending in naturally.
