Perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is magic. I won't disclose which brand of all over dye I use but it's not Clairol. With that being said, this was a perfect match. It blended seamlessly with my existing color and completely covered my gray. One day. Great for covering grays
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clairol total root touch up is one of my favorite products to cover my gray roots! I have really dark hair so my grays are super visible. I don't mind grays that much but my issue is that they're so sporadic and there's no uniformity with the growth. So until they grow in heavier I dye them. This is easy to mix and apply. It covers well and the smell isn't super overwhelming. I like the recycled bowl that comes with it. And I like that the directions are printed on the box instead of a huge sheet of paper. Love to use this product for touch-ups!!

The smell is very nice and it doesn't stain everything. I have black hair and I got the black shade . The instructions was so easy to follow and you got everything you need in the box to get started I'm touching up your gray hairs . 2 stars is really not what I want to rate this product (which I love) but I wasn't sure where to put this review to make sure it would catch the attention of the powers that be. I have thinning hair and have used this root cover up [along with hair fibers (e.g. Toppix), and one or two other things like that] to help hide my balding areas, with pretty good success. Surely I can't be the only person who uses your spray root cover up on their scalp as well as their hair, playing around to help hide what needs to be hidden. Works great. My problem now is that I am thinking about letting my hair go grey. Your product has been the one I've relied on most to cover my balding spots. You, obviously, do not make your spray in a grey color. See why I am in a tither? As I mentioned, I am certain that I am not the only person that uses your spray in the manner I described. Have you heard this from anyone before? I think you would find a lot of grey-haired women would buy your spray if you made it in grey. I haven't seen grey in any other brand (which makes sense since grey seems counterintuitive and companies don't realize there is probably a market out there for that color). Easy to use and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product and followed the instructions as directed. The color was very easy to mix and I loved the tray that came with it for mixing. The brush provided was also great in getting color close to the scalp. I did leave the color on for the 25 minutes because there were some stubborn grays I was worried about. The color rinsed off easily and all the grays were covered. Beware as the instructions do warn you but you may want to use gloves when applying the color mask after the rinse. I thought it would be more like the creme conditioners that come with hair dyes but it was a dark brown gel that will definitely leave some stain on your skin if you're not wearing gloves.
