horrible sour taste
I used to love Clif bars, but lately every box I get they all taste sour. I assume it's a new recipe, since every box is like this. These are awful and taste sour
I tried a Chocolate Chip Clif Bar for the first time a few weeks ago. It was weirdly sour, and I thought maybe it was just a bad one. I tried another today, and it's exactly the same. I actually forgot I was eating a chocolate chip bar and inadvertently thought and had convinced myself it was a raisin bar of some kind until I looked down at the label and remembered that it was actually chocolate. Unsure of why they taste this way, but it doesn't taste anything like chocolate, despite unsweetened chocolate being in the ingredient list. Either something went bad, or Clif is hiding wizards who can somehow reduce all of the qualities that make chocolate taste absolutely disgusting. Either way, blech. We have been consuming this product regularly for several years and lately, it tastes sour. I almost cannot even eat them anymore because of the sour flavor.
