Bubble Mailers
Bubble Mailers
Small packages sent through the mail will often take a fair amount of damage before reaching their destination. It's inevitable, given that the item will be handed over from person to person, from one place to another. So, what can you do?
If it's only small packages, you have at least two options. The first one is small bubble mailers, and the second is padded envelopes. Both options give you extra peace of mind knowing whatever item you are mailing will arrive safely at its destination. They provide extra cushion, protection, and rigidity, reducing damage during shipping. Now the question is whether to pick a bubble mailer or a padded envelope for your package. Either way, we carry a wide range of bubble mailers and padded envelopes at CVS.
Small Bubble Mailers
Small bubble mailers, or simply bubble mailers, are a packing option with a paper exterior while the inside is lined with bubble wrap. This gives extra protection to delicate items inside the pack. Bubble mailers come in a wide range of sizes, and small bubble mailers are only one of them. They can be as small as 4 inches to 20 inches in width and as long as 6 inches to 39 inches.
Small bubble mailers with sizes such as 5 x 7 inches or 6 x 9 inches are ideal for jewelry, CDs, small electronics, and other small items. Of course, larger mailers are great for bigger things like art and photography. Unlike padded envelopes that are usually made from Kraft paper, bubble mailers are made using polyethylene film. These make them more resistant to moisture. Furthermore, they are more flexible, and thus a better option when shipping irregularly shaped items.
Padded Envelopes
Padded envelopes, a.k.a. jiffy bags, are one of the safest options for shipping packages. Unlike bubble mailers, these sturdy yet cheaply made envelopes are made of paperboard or fiberboard. These materials ensure that the object inside doesn't bend. They also protect the items from vibrations and shocks. Padded envelopes also have a layer of bubble padding to protect the goods inside of them from damage. The envelopes themselves are also strong enough, but you can further reinforce them with adhesives.
They come in different sizes, suitable for fragile items and small objects like earrings or rings. Larger envelopes are also available for things a bit bigger, like smartphones or CDs. Both bubble mailers and padded envelopes are great for shipping small items, but mailers have greater size options. They are also resistant to moisture, unlike padded envelopes.
