[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin and also easily burn so I wanted a sunscreen that is safe to use and gives me protection. The sunscreen is great for those with sensitivities as it uses zinc so it's healthier, however the product is a little on the runny side so it applies a little greasy and rubbing in the color away takes quite a bit. I was happy with the protection I got from this but then when it came time to shower at the end of the day, I could not get the product to come off. I scrubbed pretty well and I couldn't get it all off which made applying it the next day a little hard due to the residue. BROWNIES BEWARE
This sunscreen does what it says, it protects you from the sun. I did however come across one problem with it. The Coppertone Pure and Simple, 100 percent zinc oxide sunscreen for your face left a white cast. I a fellow brown person did not enjoy the white cast left on my skin. I walked around looking like I took white paint and rubbed it on my face. We applied before getting into the water and just to be safe, we applied again about an hour later. We had no sunburns that day - which is always a win! However, I do prefer a higher SPF for sunscreens. I do like that it's lotion based and not a spray on. For my child I like to use the spray on sunscreen but for me I like the lotion based. The only issue I had with it is how quickly it spills out when trying to put a little on my hand.
