Unfortunately, I Feel I Have No Choice......
I have used CREMO products for over a decade and I have held out on writing this review for awhile but unfortunately, I feel I have no choice. What I appreciated most about CREMO offerings was the straight forward, no gimmicks, no nonsense products and approach. The two best products in Men's skin care I ever encountered....EVER....were the Astonishingly Superior Soap-Free Face Wash and the Astonishingly Superior 24-Hour Face Moisturizer. I have read others complaints regarding their absence and I am inclined to agree with their sentiments. I am disappointed that CREMO has fallen victim to the pervasive ideology that has become insidious in the realm of business consulting. That is to say that CREMO made a conscious decision, surely at the behest of some paid enterprise because they could not be so stupid, to discontinue the best products they ever produced and offered to a captive audience in exchange for a broad-based approach to be all-things-to-all-people. From the "Reserve" offerings and "Distiller's Collection" monikers placed upon what are essentially scented industrial detergents as if to present them as "fine wines" or "exclusive whiskey" is just plain sad. There is nothing exclusive about anything on the CREMO site anymore. Such exclusivity left with the two aforementioned products and has been replaced with a cacophony of tubes and bottles akin to most other Men's grooming lines. To top it off there are plenty with equal to and also better quality than CREMO today. That wasn't so in the past. Ten years ago CREMO was one of those companies, when the subject of grooming came up, was spoken of as if an advantage, and edge, in low tones among confidants and people in-the-know or who wanted to be so. The two products were bought in bulk when possible, given as casual gifts of favor as well as formal. We swore by it. Why? Because the products were simple, consistent, affordable, and the BEST available and would be today if still offered in their previous form. In closing, I don't find anything particularly interesting or captivating about the CREMO brand anymore as the products available are not really much different than many others I have access to. This makes me sad. I loved CREMO when it was hustling to build its business with the best line of focused men's grooming products available as opposed to CREMO hustling me with an uninspiring seemingly cut-and-paste blueprint of a "modern" men's grooming company. There's nothing special or unique here anymore and that is unfortunate.

Face Wash
Good clean face wash. Very mild. Not a great oil reducer.
